The Shades is a dark comedy/ satire of religious extremism and the American dream that I co-created with longtime friend and collaborator Kevin Davis (Visibly Shaken Productions). What started off as a one-off comedy sketch quickly ballooned into a bizarre fantasy suburbia, inhabited by all sorts of kooky religious zealots.

We self-financed an award-winning, 8 episode web series as a proof of concept. But we believe this barely scratches the surface of this concept's potential.

With the final installment finished and about to make it's festival rounds, we hope to find partners and develop The Shades as a half-hour single camera comedy.
